Nova Scotia

We packed up our sleeping bags and tent and drove North in our Rav-4 to explore our sister nation of Canada in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.  September is past the tourist season, and we were amazed how empty the highways and camping areas were.  At some campgrounds we had the whole campground to ourselves!  We enjoyed exploring beautiful country despite hitting a rainy spell which dampened some of our photographic endeavors, but not our vacation.   We canoed in Kejimkujik National Park, camped on a cliff overlooking the ocean at the Ovens, hiked the spectacular Skyline Trail in Cape Breton Island, and went Tidal Bore Rafting and Mud-sliding in Shubenacadie.  We are happy to share our adventure and photos.
