Arizona

Jim and Betsy headed out west for a Photo Tour with Road Scholar in April 2016.  “Adventures of the Great Southwest” program was developed by the Northern Arizona University. Our guide was Chuck Lawson, an Arizona Highways photographer. Our adventure began in Old Town Scottsdale and included a wonderful cowboy cookout at McDonald Ranch nestled in the lush Sonoran Desert. From the 90 degrees in the desert heat we traversed through the Red Rocks of Sedona and finally to the Grand Canyon where we photographed sunset and woke up to snow in the morning!

So click on a destination and join us on our travels. Start in Scottsdale at the Sonoran Desert and end up at the amazing surreal landscape of White Pocket.
