Jim and Betsy fulfilled a lifetime dream of going on an African safari and having the opportunity to photograph amazing animals in their natural environment. We teamed up with friends from Magnum Excursions and Road Runner Tours in May 2019, and joined other avid photographers for a week in Botswana. Our home base was the Pangolin Chobe Hotel, perched on a plateau overlooking The Chobe River.
The photo opportunities were tremendous as we had the option to photograph from the land as well as the water on custom photo boats. Chobe National Park is a true wildlife paradise and is well known for its natural abundance of a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, baboons, zebras and lots more.
