America’s first zoo, the Philadelphia Zoo is one of the best in the nation, boasting a large variety of animals situated within 42 acres of lovely gardens. It is also one of the premier zoos in the world for breeding animals that are difficult to breed in captivity.
When children were small, this was a regular weekend destination. Now we don’t visit as often, but enjoy the unique photographic opportunities. And it is just plain fun to watch the animals.
